I'm crabby now because I'm hackin' up a lung and that, in turn, is making me throw up. ><;;

- Insane amounts of classwork
-I got to see The Corpse Bride, and it was gooood.
-We celebrated Bethany's birthday party, and I bought her cake, and, of course, leave it to me to let a surprise party slip moments before the party. ._.; (Let's count the other times I have done that: Jason X 2, Leon, Carla....)
Ummm... That's about all. My fever is making me sctterbrained.

State is wonderful so far! I can't get over the difference in how it was from last time I was here! The people on my floor are so polite and I actually already know them~! *^o^* (most), And I live next door to a couple of boys who are total nerds! Life = good.
It is SO nice to see Aaron again. His girlfriend Bethany is here now, and she is so pretty and nice and fun. ^^ I was really scared that she would hate me and then I wouldn't get to see Aaron. I really like her, though, and she seems to like me, so I'm happy! Aaron's friends Steve and Josh are here, too. Steve is a riot, I like him a lot. Josh is really quiet, but he's really nice. All of them are nerds! <3
I saw Jynell, too. I finally got to meet Stephanie! Jynell took me out to Mongolian BBQ for lunch. It was super good. Jynell's tattoo of Sephiroth is so amazingly cute!
Later than night, Aaron and and company came to my dorm and we all went to the Student Union for the party deal. It was fuuuuun~! We had to go to all of these stations and get our papers stamped. (Stations = student directors office, blimpie's subs, coffee shop - it was like a RPG!)
I also met a boy named Hideya, who's Japanese. (He said that I can call him Hide-kun!) He's really neat! Working on criminal justice. He doesn't like anime or manga or gaming as much as I do! Irionic, huh? XD He's loves the FF6 and 7, though. That's what it's all about!
Amazingly enough, while writing this I made 4 new friends! Jen, Steve, Josh and Ross! Jen and Josh saw me playing Castlevania earlier and decided to come back when I wasn't busy. (yeah, like that was busy! >:p) So she and Ross come into the as I'm biting open a pack of Ramen noodles and invite me to hang out with them. Hurray! Then I met Steve and Josh, who are cool! All are nerds, but all VERY highly attractive. And all so nice! They seem to like to drink quite a bit, but 'Norm-fest' got me used to having friends who gab about gaming and anime while drinkin' the drinks.
Katy comes back tomorrow and I can't wait to see her! I miss my Katy~!
Now I'm waiting for Aaron to get back from the concert he and Beth are at. There's some stand-up shindig going on at the International Center and I kind of want to go. I'm gonna ask if they wanna go when they get back.
I miss everyone, though.
I had a dream about Shelley. She was driving and I was in the passanger seat of her car and she turned to me and said "someone needs you", and pushed me out! (DAMN YOU SHELLEY!) I woke up and someone was knocking on my door. I thought it was Jynell and answered in my undies... bad choice. It wasn't Jynell. Ah well. That's what they get for waking me up at the ass-crack of noon. ;p
I miss Chris and Dan lots and lots, too. I want them to come and visit and meet everyone. ::hint hint::

I'm so excited about going back to college. Not much longer now. Move-in day is the 25th to be exact. I'm pretty scared, but excited to see Aaron and Katy again. Jynell, too. Also this year, Aaron's girlfriend will be up there and so will his friend Steve~! Hurray~!
In lesser, but more exciting news, Haunting Ground is a really spiffy game. Chris and I have been playing this for the last few days and it's just... gooood. (I feel like such a back seat gamer, though, because Chris is controlling this time and I'm like "go here! go there! do this! do that! WAH!" Hee.)
In this game, rather than getting a weapon, you have to run from enemies and use your dog to attack. You praise him, scold him, give him puppy treats, and he acts accordingly to how you treat him. Of course, your dog can't always help you. Through out the palace there are "hiding spots" and you must hide from those who are after you.

So, I had a near-death expierence this evening.
Choked on an egg roll of all things. The last thing I really heard before things started to go black was Dan laughing at me. (Of course, he didn't know I was really choking).
I guess it just kinda made it's way down, because I remember I took a deep breath and my eyes opened and I had tears all runing down my face. Blah. ><;; My throat still hurts.
Guess it just makes me realize how easy you can go.
Ick.

Last night we made another "movie". This time our take was on the everlasting battle of ninja VS. pirates. Dan, Vince and I played both the ninja-type-peoples and the pirates. We went back to our old Elementary school. Ohhhh, the fun. Yvonne was an angel who destroyed the world at the end. All symbolically, of course. You know how important that symbolistic garb is.

Sooooo, I totally redid my livejournal. (If any of you even saw my LJ layout before XD) This one is total crap; you can't even read the text! But I refuse to take the pictures down in the back. I took Matt's advice from my last layout and tried to tone down the color by a lot. Worked quite well, but it's still kinda... meh. Ah well, if anyone reads what I have to say A) I'm in your friends block so you don't have to worry about my crappy layout and B) you can highlight the text. (that's what I do to read everyone else's, because my friends page sucks too ._.)
I was going to go on a rant but my computer is acting up. I'll sum everything up with a nice "POOPIE". Although I have much more colourful language. |

Final Fantasy Dear Friends was... super~! The music was simply wonderful. I found myself crying during several songs. ><;; To Zanarkand was one, and FFX was not a favorite game of mine. Oh well, lovely song none the less. Aeris' theme as well. Both so touching! Of course nothing got to me as much as One Winged Angel. Everything rushed up to me. Love of the game, hate of that battle, lust for Sephiroth... oh man, it was simply amazing. It was the same score from the Final Fantasy 7 Reunion tracks, which made me very happy - meaning pauses in different places, the choir comes in at different measures due to extended music interludes, and the cute little pop gun noise~!
Aside from the music, everyone looked so good! I want to point out Greg and Beth who looked like they popped right out the the Fruits Fashion magazine! *^o^* They looked so spiffy, it was exciting! And Beth in a dress~! WAH~! SO KAWAII~!
Hmmm...Seeing the concert makes me miss band like no other. I wanna go back and play music~! ;_; Or play music with people. Or something. ::sniffles:: Also, times like this make me regret chosing the sax as my instrument. There are no saxophones in an orchastra. Meh. It was because it was before they were invented, I think...? I could be wrong. Maybe it was because they were not over seas yet? ><;; GAH! My band teacher TOLD me. Maybe it's because they would just sound like ass. (Which I would agree with. Saxes are for jazz and ska!)
On a totally different note, I have been playing Gitaroo Man for the last few days, and I thought I have been doing so good. However, in a battle with Norm, he totally kicked my butt and that means more practice!!! (Sorry, Norm, not getting your game back yet :p)
I wanna cosplay him~! Gitaroo Man!
How cute would that be? Hard as Hell... but anything is easier than a freakin' fuu-fuu skirt with no pattern. ><;; Making his Gitaroo would even be harder. ;_;

Ikasucon was fun.
LOTS OF FUN.
Harry Potter was fun. Reading it really, really, really late was fun. Group cosplay was fun. Meeting new people was fun. Singing Beck
with Shelly and Ruth and Chris and Nikolai and Norm was fun. (Team Emo and Sluts Like Us, our new bands! Whoooo~!) Failing a
DDR 2-foot song to blow the tourney was fun. XD Shelly winning and kicking the snot out of the girl who beat me and winning Bawlz
was fun. Sleeping between your new girlfriends is fun. ::wink wink, nudge nudge to Ruth and Shelly:: (SURPRISE, B!) ;p Steak and
Shake's milkshakes are fun! COSPLAY IS FUN! Kitty dating games are fun. Watching Chris hit on girls is fun. Guitaroo Man is FUN!
Shopping for your friends is fun. Mmmm.... It's all fun. *^.^*

Alright. The Full Moon manga is finally out. Hurray. You think that I'd be happy, wouldn't you? One of the greatest animes I've seen
in a long time; and I can finally read the manga in English, rather than stare at the pictures in the Japanese copies that I have and
pretend to know what's going on. Too bad I'm a bitter, bitter jerk about what they have done to it. Tiny things, really, but I'm so irked...
Poor Chris had to hear all about it after I read it. Either way, I'll cut it so I won't spoil anything for those who haven't read the manga or
want to see the series still. (It's nothing major, but I've always been a bitch about spoilers... I hate 'em.)
( Full Moon Manga rant - some spoilers :p )
With the rant out of the way, I can say that the manga is super cute. I'd recommend getting it to everyone who reads this (who
doesn't have it already, or has never heard of it.) The full name is Full Moon wo Sagashite - called Full Moon o Sagashite in
local bookstores. (Yeah, I know no big dif). It looks girly, but it's good. Wonderful even. To make everything better, it's $8.99 as
opposed to the regular $9.99. Hurray for anime becoming super popular! Prices will slash!
Now.... Onto the spider war. Not to much happened, but on my way downstairs last night - about 2 in the morning - there was a GIANT
wolf spider! I'm talking the size of an "OK" sign! It was skittering across the floor and the damned thing stopped to LOOK at me, I swear!
We both had a stare-down; I could scarcely breath and I thought I was gonna fall down the damned last stair. Then the monster made
a move and I screamed bloody Hell, dived towards my garbage pail and hurled it at the hairy beast. Well, that makes me sound graceful.
Imagine me doing that with the coordination of an hippo. All in all, Mr. Spider went splat. I gained 20exp and learned a new spell.
His crushed carcass is less than 5 feet from where I am now... I'm too grossed out to clean it up. I have a piece of computer paper
over him. Rest in peace, little guy. You were a worthy opponent. |

1) I was in marching band all 4 years of high school. I love the band, still. I'll go back to visit
on occasion, and will continue, even though everyone I know has graduated this year
and there is a new teacher.
2) I would rather drink Mt. Dew than alcohol.
3) I role play every friday night. And I like it. And it's table top. And it's fun. AND we created our own
half-assed system.
4) Dan and I once ate raw cookie dough and cheese cubes for lunch. Then got really sick.
5) I have nearly every recent ep of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on VHS from the SCI-Fi channel. And that's what
I watch when I exercise.
